Children's Church (3 years through kindergarten)
Parkside's Children's Church Ministry takes place each Sunday morning for most of the worship service. Children ages 3 years through kindergarten are dismissed around the time of the offering and meet in the Toddler Nursery for about 45 minutes of age appropriate fun and learning. Our curriculum is called Noah's Park, and each lesson includes a Bible Story, a puppet show, games, crafts, and (of course) snack time. Each month brings a new theme and memory verse. We are blessed with many teachers and helpers as young as 11 years old who are just learning the value of serving and ministry, allowing them to grow in their own faith and confidence. "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not turn from it." Proverbs 22:6
"Grace Notes" Children's Choir:
Pioneer Clubs is a Biblically based children's program for pre-school through 5th grade. We meet Wednesdays September through March from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Children participate in several activities including Bible lessons, Bible memory verses, games, crafts and other themed activities to earn rewards. We also offer Pizza every week and a "Family Dinner Night" each month throughout the Pioneer Club year. Children are also encouraged to be involved and give to our missions program. Each week our dedicated leaders faithfully minister to the children in our church, and to children outside of our church. Pioneer Clubs is a powerful ministry to our children and the surrounding community!
Parkside Bible values each and every child and our nursery ministry offers the youngest of our attenders the first hand love of Christ as we care for them, play with them, read Bible stories to them, and let them know they are deeply loved; not only by us, but by their Heavenly Father. As new parents attend our church, one of their first experiences will happen as they drop their little one(s) off at our nursery. That experience needs to be one that gives them confidence in our ability to care for their child, as well as a friendly, loving, joyful atmosphere as we welcome the child as well as the parents!
